Since 1993 Gidion BV is importer and distributor of renowned top brands, whereby the sport Volleyball is the most important common denominator of the different brands.

Mark Meuleman (owner) has been playing volleyball since he was 8 years old and has been able to turn his hobby into his profession since 1996 by becoming an importer of GI&DI sportswear and Gala volleyballs. Over the years, various brands have been added, such as Tr2 knee protectors, Funtec beach volleyball systems and Volleysystem training materials.

During this long period, a close collaboration between BOSport from Maaseik and Gidion has been established. This has finally resulted in a take-over of the activities of BOSport in 2022.

By also entering into a multi-year relationship with the Flemish volleyball federation and making use of the knowledge and expertise of Dries Koekelkoren, Gidion hopes to be a welcome addition in Belgium for the sport specific (beach) volleyball products.
