Gidion B.V. cares about your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (the improvement of) our services and treat the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. The effective date for the validity of these terms and conditions is 26/05/2021, with the publication of a new version the validity of all previous versions expires. Webshop software


Opencart

Our webshop is developed with software from Opencart, for our web hosting we have chosen Yourhosting. Personal information that you provide to us for our services is shared with this party. Yourhosting has access to your information to provide us (technical) support, they will never use your information for any other purpose. Yourhosting is obliged to take appropriate security measures based on the agreement we have with them. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Regular backups are made to prevent data loss.


Webhosting


Yourhosting

We purchase web hosting and e-mail services from Yourhosting. Yourhosting processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. Yourhosting has appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal information. Yourhosting is bound to secrecy under the agreement.


E-mail and mailing lists


YMLP

Our website uses YMLP, a third party that handles e-mail traffic originating from our website and the sending of any newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms are sent through Yourhosting's servers. Yourhosting will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically through our website you will see the 'unsubscribe' link. If you click this link you will no longer receive e-mail from our website. This can seriously affect the functionality of our website! Your personal information is securely stored by Yourhosting. Yourhosting uses cookies and other Internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. Yourhosting reserves the right to use your information for further service improvements and to share information with third parties for this purpose.

 

Office365

For our regular business email traffic we use the services of Office365. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Office365 has no access to our mailbox and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.


Payment processors


MultiSafepay

For the processing of (part of) the payments in our webshop we use the platform of MultiSafepay. MultiSafepay processes your name, address and city details and your payment information such as your bank account or credit card number. MultiSafepay has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. MultiSafepay reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and in this context to share (anonymised) data with third parties. All the above-mentioned safeguards for the protection of your personal data also apply to those parts of MultiSafepay's services for which they engage third parties. MultiSafepay will not retain your data any longer than permitted by law.

WebwinkelKeur

We collect reviews via the platform of WebwinkelKeur. If you leave a review through WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide a name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us, so we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur will also publish your name on their own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to explain your review. In the event that we invite you to leave a review, we will share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. Shipping and logistics


DHL

 If you place an order with us it is our job to deliver your package to you. We use the services of DHL to perform the deliveries. It is therefore necessary for us to share your name, address and place of residence with DHL. DHL will only use this data for the performance of the contract. In the event that DHL uses subcontractors, DHL will also make your data available to these parties.


Invoicing and bookkeeping


Exactonline

For our administration and bookkeeping we use the services of Exactonline. We share your name, address and details regarding your order. These details are used for the administration of sales invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored in a protected manner. Exactonline is bound to secrecy and will treat your data confidentially. Exactonline will not use your personal data for any purpose other than those described above.
